These terms cover the free 1x0.ai chat widget — creating a chatbot, the hosted chat page at chat.1x0.ai, the embeddable widget, and the owner dashboard. By creating a chatbot you agree to them. They don't cover paid engagements with 1x0.ai, which are covered by a separate agreement.
It's free, with limits
The tool costs nothing. It has usage limits: a cap on how many messages one visitor can send per day, and a monthly message total per chatbot. When a limit is reached, the chatbot tells the visitor and points them to your contact details until it resets. We may change these limits at any time.
No uptime guarantee
This is a free service provided as-is. We don't promise it will be available, that it will keep working correctly, or that we'll keep offering it. We may change it, break it, or shut it down without notice.
You must own the source you submit
When you submit a website or social profile, you confirm that you own it or are authorised to represent that business. Don't create a chatbot for a site or business that isn't yours.
You're responsible for what your assistant says
The assistant generates answers with AI. AI answers can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading — even when the content it was built from is accurate. The chatbot speaks as your business. You are responsible for everything it tells your customers, including any price, availability, policy, or commitment it states. Read your conversations. Don't rely on the assistant for anything where a wrong answer carries real consequences.
Acceptable use
Don't use the tool to impersonate anyone, to publish content you don't have the right to use, for anything unlawful, or to abuse the service — for example, sending automated traffic to run up a chatbot's message count. We may suspend or delete any workspace we believe is being used this way, without notice.
1x0.ai branding is required
The free tier displays "Powered by 1x0.ai" on the chat page and in the widget, linking back to us. You may not remove, hide, cover, or obscure it. Doing so ends your right to use the tool.
Ownership
The 1x0.ai name, the widget, and this site are ours. Your content — the text drawn from your site, what you enter in the dashboard, and your conversations — stays yours. You grant us permission to store and process it as needed to run the service.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it — including downtime, data loss, or anything the assistant says to you or your customers.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change. Continuing to use the tool means you accept the current version.
