The best available tools, including AI, are used throughout to work efficiently — but the judgment, decisions, and responsibility remain undivided.

Background

The path here was not conventional. Most of my career was spent in communications and marketing leadership — over twenty years of it, including leading global marketing and communications for a technology company. That background has proven more relevant than it might first appear: technical work frequently fails not because the engineering is flawed, but because it was never translated into terms the business side could understand or act on. Having sat on that side of the table directly shapes how projects are scoped and explained here.

Alongside that career, I have built independently for well over fifteen years — early online ventures predating 2009, an independent publication written and run continuously since 2009, and more recently software products and AI systems. I am also a published author across several titles. This is not incidental background; it reflects the same operating principle the consultancy is built on: build the work directly, end to end, rather than manage others to do it.

Why direct matters
