Replacing the Monday-morning reporting scramble

A business with several branches has one person who spends every Monday pulling numbers out of Tally, the POS, and three spreadsheets, then rebuilding the same summary by hand. By the time it circulates, it describes last week. Worse, each branch calculates the same metric slightly differently, so the totals are argued about rather than acted on.

The system: a nightly pipeline pulls from each source into one place, with a single agreed definition for every metric so a number means the same thing everywhere. A dashboard covers anyone who wants to explore. For everyone else, a short morning digest carries the six figures that actually get checked. Anything moving outside its normal range is flagged when it happens, not at month end.

What changes: current numbers by 8am, one version of each figure, and a full day a week returned to whoever was assembling it.

Do you handle data cleaning, or just visualization?

Both — a dashboard built on messy or inconsistent source data isn't reliable, so pipeline/cleaning work is scoped in whenever the source data needs it, not left as an assumed prerequisite.

Can you build on top of tools we already use (e.g. our existing BI tool)?

Yes, where that's the better fit — sometimes the right answer is a custom tool built on top of your existing BI platform rather than a fully separate build. This is assessed during scoping.

How do you decide what metrics actually matter?
